Suwar / Sewr

Suwar (Sewr, Al-Suwar, صُوَر, as-Suwar or al-Suwwar) is a town in the Deir ez-Zor Canton on the Khabur river in NE Syria. In 2004, the town had a population of 5,297.

During the Syrian conflict, the town fell under ISIS occupation until it was liberated by Syrian Democratic in September 2017.

Water to reach Hesekê in less then 48 hours, says Democratic Autonomous Administration

The Democratic Autonomous Administration institutions started to operate stations that would pump water from the Euphrates River to reach the city of Hesekê in less than 48 hours.
