​​​​​​​Maintenance teams continue its work to re-pump water to al-Hasakah city

The co-chair of the Water Directorate in al-Hasakah canton, Suzdar Ahmed confirmed that the maintenance teams are continuing their work until the water is pumped to the city of al-Hasakah, as well as the completion of maintenance of the damage left by the Turkish occupation’s assault on the electricity network in the city of Tel Tamr.

Two days ago [3 April 2020], the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the waterways that feed the city of al-Hasakah with missiles, which cut off the water from the city for the fifth time in a row.

The maintenance teams and the special committees of the People ‘s Municipality in the city of Tal Tamer have started the process of preparing water lines to the city to re-pump the water again.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with the co-chair of Water Directorate in al-Hasakah canton, talked two days ago the Turkish occupation had targeted the main water feeds at Alouk station, which led to cut off the water from the city of al-Hasakah and Tel Tamr.

For his part, the co-chair of the Water Directorate in the city of Tal Tamr, Khalid Muhammad Alo, called on the guarantors to put an end to the violations of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries regarding the areas of northern and eastern Syria.

In the context, the technical maintenance workshops of the General Electricity Company in al-Hasakah ended the maintenance operations of the electrical network in the Tel Tamr area that was bombed last night by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, which led to the departure of the power station in the city of Tel Tamr from service.
