The House of Co-operatives in Girkê Legê district seeks to establish more co-operative societies in order to promote the principle of the participatory economy and to consolidate social ties among all groups of society.

The center of the House of Co-operatives is located in the Girkê Legê district in order to supervise, establish and manage the co-operative societies in Girkê Legê and Çil Agha districts and their countryside. The association aims to study useful economic projects and implement them through participatory work through the establishment of co-operative societies whose members contribute to financing, administrating and sharing the profits.

Three new co-operatives in Çil Agha district

During the experience of the previous years, the co-operative societies established in Girkê Legê and Çil Agha proved their economic feasibility as well as their social benefits in terms of strengthening the social ties and the culture of participatory work in addition to their contribution to the extent of enhancing the economic reality and developing the local production.

The experience of the past years and by taking advantage of some of the shortcomings and errors which emerged, the House of Co-operatives began to implement three economic projects in Çil Agha district and its countryside, involving dozens of families.
