Electing Administrators to Organize Women’s Affairs Within the Al Furat Hospital

Today, the co-chair of the Executive Council – the Democratic Civil Administration of the city of Manbij and its countryside, Zainab Qanbar, and her deputy, Jamila Ahmed, met at the Euphrates Hospital in Manbij with the female medical staff, to learn about the progress of work and the problems they face.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the health conditions in the city and the need for families to co-operate with the medical staff at Al Furat Hospital to work on building a healthy and sound society.

Some workers also suggested the necessity of forming a department for women who work in the hospital, in order to organize the hospital’s work and women, in addition to coordinating with civil institutions in the city.

At the end of the meeting, five administrators were elected to organize women’s work within the hospital. They are: Zarifa Hussain, Najah Melhem, Fatima Hamo, Mona Zakaria and Ali Shekhani.
