Women Defend Rojava, Rise Up 4 Rojava, Make Rojava Green Again and the Internationalist Commune have each issued a joint call for two international days of action to coincide with the 8 year anniversary of the beginning of the Rojava Revolution in northern Syria on 19 July 2012.
The days of action will take place on 18-19 July 2020.
Co-operation in Mesopotamia and the Solidarity Economy Association are inviting co-operatives to participate in the Global Days of Action on the weekend of 18-19 July. For example:
- Design or print an image or banner to display in your shop, housing co-operative or other physical space;
- Feature an image on your website during the days of action, with a link to more information and a sentence or two about why your co-operative stands beside Rojava;
- Post a photo or short video clip of your co-op members holding a banner, or image, and say why you support the revolution;
- Something else – be creative!
