The third conference of the Democratic Islam Congress was held under the slogan “Diligence and renewal are the gates to the solution of Middle East issues”.
In the presence of representatives of Yazidi, Zoroastrian, Christian, and other religions, as well as representatives of the DAANES, the conference took place in the city of Qamishlo.
The convening of the Conference is another step in peace-building and the desire to bring together religious beliefs in North East Syria and the commitment of Islam to promote tolerance and renounce extremism in all its forms. To live together in faith in the Democratic Nation concept of building a decentralised pluralistic Syria that recognises the rights of all ethnicities, doctrines, and religions.
